Rental Information

Location: 5931 Recreation Way, McClellan Park, CA 95652

Freedom Park features 5 rentable picnic sites, a large playground, splash pad, basketball courts, restrooms, and more! Click “RESERVE” below to check availability and reserve your picnic site.

Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance.

  • Picnic sites are available Sunday–Saturday, from the first weekend in March through the last weekend in October.
  • Reservations must be made using a desktop or laptop. The system is not mobile-friendly.

Please note: processing fees will be applied at check out

​Splash Pad Hours & Information

The Splash Pad is open seasonally for public use!

  • Early Season: Beginning the first weekend in May, the Splash Pad will be open weekends from 12:00 PM–7:00 PM.
  • Summer Season: Beginning Memorial Day through the last weekend in September, the Splash Pad will be open daily from 12:00 PM–7:00 PM.
  • Schedule Changes: Splash Pad hours and operating days are subject to change due to state, county, or city water restrictions, maintenance, repairs, or damage.

Please Note: The Splash Pad is not included with pavilion rentals and remains open to the general public during posted operating hours. Pavilion reservations do not provide exclusive use of the Splash Pad.

Refund Policy

Refund requests must be made in writing and be received fifteen (15) days prior to your reservation date to qualify for a refund or transfer date. Please refer to the Picnic Pavilion Rental FAQ and rental agreement for further information.

The softball fields at Freedom Park are leased to All Star Tournaments. Any inquiries regarding softball, please contact them directly at (916) 768-7827.
